TCG NOW was founded by Nick Lai, a serial entrepreneur with a strong track record of building and scaling businesses across multiple industries. Nick is the founder of FinCrew, an insurance technology startup, NickMetrics, a digital marketing agency, and Party8, a wellness-focused consumer brand.

What began as a simple hobby collecting trading cards with his kids soon revealed a larger opportunity. While spending time in the hobby, Nick noticed the lack of a dedicated, trustworthy online retail platform for trading card games in Malaysia. Many collectors struggled with limited access, inconsistent quality, and uncertainty when buying cards online.

Driven by this gap in the market, TCG NOW was established to bring professionalism, transparency, and confidence into the local TCG scene. By combining retail expertise, technology, and a collector-first mindset, TCG NOW aims to make buying and selling trading cards safer, easier, and more enjoyable for everyone.
